DESCRIPTION:Worship times: 8:30 and 11 am \n“Joining the Journey” \nTiffany Hunsley \nFounder & Executive Director\, Recovery Is Happening (RIH)\nHaving personally battled and persevered through substance use challenges\, Tiffany made the decision in 2011 to dedicate her life to serving others by helping them navigate out of the darkness and into a new way of life. Through RIH she has created opportunities that were not available to her during her own recovery journey. Her formation of a peer-lead recovery organization in Rochester\, MN encourages new patterns of behavior and maintains a high level of accountability and affordability that nearly anyone can meet. Today Recovery Is Happening represents Tiffany’s vision of moving beyond addiction & leading a life in recovery. Tiffany is also a recipient of the 2016 Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Voice Awards. \n  \n  \nEducation Hour: 9:45—10:45 am\, Dining Room\n“Homelessness: Addiction & Mental Illness”\nPanel Speakers include: \nBrittany Gries & Justin Steinberg\nHousing Specialists at Touchstone Mental Health\nTouchstone Mental Health provides an array of innovative person-centered services\, including housing\, treatment centers\, and in home supports\, for people whose lives are affected by mental illnesses. \nLee Blons\nExecutive Director BEACON Interfaith Housing\nBEACON is an interfaith housing collaborative dedicated to providing homes and services to the homeless. \nTiffany Hunsley\nExecutive Director of Recovery is Happening\nFounded in 2011\, this independent\, non-profit\, peer-lead recovery organization supports recovery-focused advocacy\, community education\, outreach\, and provides peer-based recovery support services. \nClick here for flyer
