DESCRIPTION:The Twin Cities’ North Suburban Grief Support Coalition sponsors the “Growing Through Loss” series twice yearly\, providing an opportunity for individuals to obtain information and support for a variety of loss and grief issues. \nGloria Englund will be speaking the night of April 25th on the topic “A Different Kind of Grief“ \nThis presentation addresses the grief process specific to being in a relationship with a loved one who has died from to addiction. Death from substance use disorder (SUD) is a “disenfranchised grief” due to the stigma that accompanies the disease of addiction.
