Donations accepted\, not required. \n  \nKeynote Speaker\nRandy Anderson\nNational Recovery & Criminal Justice Reform Advocate \nA man in long-term recovery\, Randy Anderson is a nationally recognized and celebrated advocate for recovery and criminal justice reform. He’s currently the Overdose Prevention Manager for Steve Rummler HOPE Network— the organization responsible for passing “Steve’s Law” in 2014. \nHe also serves on the board of directors of the MN Second Chance Coalition. During the 2015/2016 legislative session\, Randy and others testified before several legislative committees at drug sentencing reform hearings. \nRandy will share his recovery journey and discuss how their testimonies prompted the State’s most significant change in drug sentencing in nearly 30 years.\nImmediately following the Recovery Advocacy Seminar\, Randy will conduct a free training about Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and the role Naxolone/NARCAN® can play in preventing overdose fatalities. \n$10 – General Admission $5 – Student Admission\nOnline Registration:\nhttp://mnrecoveryadvocacy2019.eventbrite.com\nOnline registration deadline is February 19.
