One Family’s Journey to Recovery – Second Sunday with Gloria Englund
June 10 @ 9:00 am - 2:30 pm$15.00
Follow your spirit—and spend your Sundays with us once a month.
INSPIRATION, GROWTH AND HEALING
Revitalize your recovery with friends and families who share the journey.
Welcome to Second Sunday, your opportunity each month to:
- Hear from special guest speakers who open the way to new insights and awareness
- Reconnect with principles and practices that nurture your spirit
- Gather with others who understand the challenges and gifts of recovery
Join Gloria Englund as she shares her family journey of recovery. Her mission to reach other parents and loved ones of those with substance use disorder was highly accelerated once she understood that her son’s compulsive drug seeking was rooted in his brain illness, not his character, choices or lack of will power. This recognition supported her decision to detach with the same love and compassion she would if he had any other incurable illness. Boundaries involved what she needed to be in relationship with her son, not about his substance use.
REGISTER EARLY AND SAVE!
$15—If you register online on or before June 6
$20—At the door (After June 6, all participants must register on-site, the day of the event.)
Registration fee includes programming and lunch.
